About The Role
Here at Salvatech we are rapidly growing out our Engineering function and are currently offering a fantastic opportunity for a Software Engineer to come and join our small expanding team and work on the core protocol of Tezos. You will be working on the forefront of innovation in blockchains and making a direct impact on the Tezos ecosystem.
As a Software Engineer, you will have the freedom to come up with new ideas and put them into production. You will be collaborating directly with other Engineers in the Tezos ecosystem and will mentor junior teammates whilst working on complex and challenging problems. If you enjoy learning new programming languages (OCaml and Rust in this case), and want to become an
expert in blockchain technologies, you are the kind of person we are looking for.
What You Will Need
Strong hands-on experience in software engineering
Strong computer fundamentals (e.g. algorithms, data structures and concurrency)
Interest in Functional Programming with prior experience a bonus
Competitive programming (e.g. ACM, IOI, ICPC) and/or problem solving (e.g. IMO, Putnam) is a plus.
Good communication skills and a passion for collaboration and innovation is essential
Maths background is an asset
